RHT Walks the Talk in Fight Against Climate Change

RHT has reinforced its commitment to fight climate change through its investment in AirCarbon, a blockchain-based carbon trading exchange. The AirCarbon Exchange aims to make it easy for those in the transportation industry to acquire carbon offsets for compliance and voluntary purposes, minimising the impact of their carbon footprint.

The AirCarbon Exchange targets to be fully operational in 2020, bringing to Singapore the first global blockchain-enabled multi-stakeholder carbon trading hub representing over US$100 billion worth of carbon trades. This represents yet another milestone for RHT’s longstanding efforts to support green growth.

Environmental protection is also one of the causes RHT Rajan Menon Foundation (RHT RMF) – the corporate social responsibility arm of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing and RHT Group of Companies supports.  Launched by RHT RMF in October 2018, the Greening ASEAN: Initiatives & Leadership (GAIL) aims to facilitate relevant expertise, knowledge and practical measures to help businesses gain the confidence and capabilities to embed and grow sustainability into their business models.
