With the support of the Foundation’s donors and sponsors, our Patron and Board of Directors, as well as management, lawyers and staff from across ONERHT, we will continue to advance the Foundation’s initiatives and programmes across its four core pillars of education, the environment and sustainability, disadvantaged groups, as well as the arts and sports.
The Foundation marks a new chapter following its renaming to reflect its evolution as a common platform for corporate social responsibility and purposeful growth for ONERHT.
Since retiring from politics, I have remained engaged with the community in various ways as a volunteer in an advisory capacity. In this way, I continue to support some of the key causes I was advocating whilst in office. Charitable causes are one of them.
Hence, I can identify with what ONERHT Foundation seeks to do, espousing support for the environment, promotion of education and uplifting the less fortunate. I pushed for greater pro-bono involvement by lawyers and law firms whilst in office. Now, through this platform, I can continue to be involved in this endeavour in a more direct and impactful way.
